A true Northern Manitoba feast. Chefs from the local Lions Club worked hard frying up the local delicacy of fresh pickerel. Many community members contributed to the luncheon
A total of 360+ hungry people enjoyed the feast. It takes a lot of fish frying to feed them.
Besides pickerel, there was locally harvested and prepared wild rice casseroles, helpings of coleslaw and baked beans. Hmmmmmmmmm! Rounded out with home baked bannock or buns.
